Pseudo-scandal in US TV show "Today" on NBC.
Eve Ensler - TV dramatist - wrote a piece many years ago valled "The Vagina Monologues".
Women loved it, it achieved fame , not only because of the notorius title,
but also because Jane Fonda played the title role. Jane Fonda is now 70.
Ensler and Fonda were on NBC's "Today" show, hosted by Meredith Vieira,
when Fonda dropped into the vernacular and said "Cunts" instead of "Vagina".

Immediately, hundreds of conservative middle americans called in and complained, so Veiera grovelled apologies. WTF?
Middle America may not know what a Vagina is, but they sure as f*ck know what a cunt is!

Good for Janey. It's so funny how, in the UK men call each other cunts all the time and laugh. In the US, cunt seems to be about the worst word you could possibly use.I love the word myself and try to drop it casually into conversation wherever possible.
