Woman buckles up beer but not kid

You know that one time you thought you buckled your child in their car seat only to realize in horror later you hadn't actually latched the belt, you were on autopilot and somehow forgot that step and you still feel horrible about it? Well, you're fine.

A woman in Florida was arrested after police stopped her for running a red light and discovered that while the case of beer in the passenger side of the car was safely belted in, the sixteen month old girl in the back seat was not.

After finding a couple of metal pipes commonly used for smoking drugs in the driver's purse, she was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, child abuse, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving without a license.

What I don't understand is why the girl's mother, who was sitting in the back seat with the toddler while her drunk/high friend drove, wasn't charged with anything. Anyone have an idea?

LHR, Terminal 5 . . .

As you may have read, chaos reigns at London Heathrow airport.
Not (just) because 4D works there,
but the new terminal 5 is screwed up.

In particular, there are over 15000 bags lying around there,
separated from their owners.
In an attempt to get the bags back to their rightful owners,
they are being driven across
Europe by the lorryload to Milan.
There they are sorted, and then flown from Milan to their home addresses.
So far so good.

But one set of bags  belongs to a man from Iceland.
Now there isn't a direct flight from
Milan to Reyjkavik,
so they forwarded the bags indirectly.

wait for it. wait for it.

via Heathrow ;-)

A nappy bomb?

A two-year-old boy was briefly banned from boarding a Turkey-bound flight in the United Arab Emirates after his name appeared on a list of wanted suspects, a newspaper reported on Saturday.

Emirates Today said the boy's passport details, including the date of birth, matched those in an arrest warrant. The reason for the mix-up was not known.

'While going through the passport checking procedures to get on board, one of the officers on duty said they wanted to take Suhail,' Emirates Today quoted the boy's father, Abdullah Mohamed Saleh, as saying.

'I thought he was kidding me and said "Take him if you want",' he said. 'He showed me a print-out of a document that said Suhail was wanted and there was an arrest warrant for him.'

Officials said they would investigate the incident, the paper reported.

A bitch in the shower

Allright! I know it's Tuesday. Tuesday? I think. I'm a shift worker so I want special dispensation 'cause I forget when it's Friday......

BREMERTON, Wash. - A 25-year-old woman was arrested for investigation of second-degree assault for getting into an argument with her boyfriend over whether his dog should be in the bathroom while the couple were taking a shower together.

A police report said the man, 26, wanted his dog to join them in the bathroom, but the woman objected on Thursday night.

The woman told her boyfriend that if the dog doesn't stay out, she didn't want to be his girlfriend anymore. He replied that maybe his next girlfriend would appreciate the dog more, and called her a name.

The police report said the woman punched him in the face several times and the man dislocated his shoulder after the naked couple grappled. He told police his girlfriend threw a picture frame, which broke and cut him.

The woman was taken to the Kitsap County Jail in Port Orchard. Bail has been set at $50,000.

He should have had a pussy in the shower instead eh? ;-)
